Videos

Videos are a great way to disseminate your research! A video can be used for a video abstract for a journal, an educational resource for patients or updating the research community with your findings.

Below are a few videos that I've created with the faculty that I work with for their research and journal publications.

Parent-reported clinical utility of pediatric genomic sequencing in the CSER Consortium

This video was created with Hadley Stevens Smith, PhD, MPSA for a publication that was featured in Pediatrics in July 2023. To learn more about this study or to read the full manuscript, please visit the link here.

Genomic Sequencing Education Module Video

This video was created with Hadley Stevens Smith, PhD, MPSA. The purpose of the video, which was shown at the beginning of a survey, was to provide information about pediatric genomic sequencing. The educational content prepared survey respondents to complete a series of choice tasks to assess their preferences for genetic testing. The survey was administered in English and Spanish to a random sample of 2,000 US adults.

Genomic Sequencing Education Module Video (en Español)

This is the educational video above translated into Spanish for survey participants. This version of the video was created by myself, Hadley Stevens Smith PhD, MPSA, Maddie Hickingbotham and Marleny Ortega.

Modern media for HEOR communication and dissemination

This video was created with Davene Wright, PhD as part of a publication featured in the Applied Health Economics and and Health Policy Journal to illustrate the importance of disseminating research with various media.
