About Mikaela

Hello, my name is Mikaela Batista. I have been working as a Project Coordinator and Health Communications Designer for the last 8 years at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, an affiliated public health research institution of Harvard Medical School.

While leading grant submissions to funding agencies like NIH, AHRQ and PCORI, and carrying out other research administration duties, my work includes creating designs, figures, logos, videos and more for the faculty and study teams at the department. I primarily use Canva for my designs, but I do have experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

I offer consulting for designing materials and advising study teams on research dissemination using visuals. If you are interested in learning more about my work as a consultant, feel free to contact me!
